Frequently Asked Questions

How do I log an oyster?

Tap the "+" button from the home screen. You can add the restaurant, oyster name, origin, your rating, and a photo. Oysters are grouped by session so you can log multiple varieties from the same visit.

Can I edit or delete an oyster I already logged?

Yes. Go to your Oyster Log, tap on any entry, and you'll see options to edit or delete it.

How do I add friends?

Go to the Friends tab and search for other Pearl users by username. Once connected, you'll see their oyster posts in your feed.

Is my data private?

Your oyster log is visible only to your approved friends on Pearl. Your email and account details are never shared. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Delete Account. This will permanently remove your account, oyster logs, and all associated data. This action cannot be undone.

Is Pearl free?

Yes. Pearl is completely free to use.
