By accessing or using Pearl Oyster Tracker ("Pearl", "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
Pearl is a personal oyster tracking and social sharing application. Users can log oysters they have tried, rate them, upload photos, and share their experiences with friends on the platform.
You must create an account to use Pearl. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
You retain ownership of content you post on Pearl, including photos, ratings, and reviews. By posting content, you grant Pearl a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content within the Service to your approved friends. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to post any content you upload.
You agree not to use Pearl to post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable. You agree not to impersonate others, spam other users, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service. We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these terms.
The Pearl name, logo, and all related designs, interfaces, and features are the property of Pearl. You may not use our trademarks or branding without written permission.
You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Pearl is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pearl shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of Pearl after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
